The hook-and-loop backing holds firmly on my backing pad without slipping, which is exactly what I needed for precise work on a small detail job. These 3-inch discs cut cleanly without loading up, and the 3000 grit leaves a mirror-smooth finish on the glass I was polishing.

Finally a 3000 grit disc that actually holds up to wet sanding without falling apart. The hook and loop backing kept it firmly in place on my polisher for the whole job.

I've been using these 3000 grit discs for final polish on my small carvings, and the even cut leaves a mirror-like finish without any swirls. They hold up well through several uses too.
