I’ve been using this interface pad with my random orbital sander and the 1/2” foam gives just enough cushion to avoid swirl marks while still keeping the paper flat on the curve. The hook-and-loop backing holds the discs securely even after dozens of swaps, which saves me from constantly re-sticking

The 54-hole dust extraction on this pad actually works as advertised—my work surface stays much cleaner than with cheaper pads. The 1/2" foam gives just the right amount of cushion for finishing work without feeling too squishy.

I’d been using a worn-out pad before, and this 1/2" foam thickness makes a noticeable difference in how evenly the sanding pressure is applied. The hook-and-loop attachment holds the paper firmly without any slipping during use.
