These discs cut through welds on my trailer hitch like butter, and the double thickness is definitely noticeable—I used one all day and it barely wore down.

I've been using these flap discs for heavy grinding on steel, and they hold up way longer than the cheap ones I tried before. The flat shape works perfectly for blending welds flat without gouging, and the price for a double-thickness disc is hard to beat.

The double-thickness build really shows—I burned through my usual discs in half a shift, but this one kept cutting smooth the whole time. Flat Type 27 shape made it easy to get into tight corners without extra gouging.
