The 5/8"-11 threads on this 8" pad threaded onto my sander perfectly, no wobble at all. It's solid and the hook-and-loop surface grips my discs tight even during heavy use.

Medium density hits that sweet spot—firm enough for flat sanding but with just a bit of give on curves. The 8" size mates perfectly with my hook-and-loop discs, and the threaded mount went on without any wobble. Solid value for the price.
