I was looking for something that could handle both blending and finishing without switching tools, and the 80-grit version of this flap wheel does exactly that. The 6-inch diameter gives me nice coverage on flat surfaces, and the flaps hold up well under moderate pressure.

The 120-grit option is what I grabbed for blending welds on a few steel frames, and the 6-inch diameter covers a lot of surface without bogging down. It's held up through a full afternoon of work so far, no shedding or wobbly feel from the arbor hole.

The 80-grit version I got tears through rust on old metal parts without loading up, and the layers hold together much better than cheaper wheels I've tried.
