Used the 1-inch bit on some thick marble tiles, and it stayed sharp through all four cuts without slowing down. The 1/4-inch shank fit my drill perfectly, no wobble at all.

Cut through two porcelain tiles without any chipping, and the 1/4" shank fit my standard drill perfectly. The 1-inch hole saw left a clean, precise opening that needed almost no smoothing afterward.

I was a bit skeptical about how well these would hold up on porcelain tile, but the 1-inch bit went through without any chipping at all. The quarter-inch shank fits my standard drill perfectly, and both sizes feel solid enough for plenty more projects.
