This block is small enough to get into tight spots on my shop project but still has a firm sanding surface because of the black foam layer. The white part gives just enough cushion so you don't get sand-throughs on edges.

I've been using this block for wet sanding and the black side holds up perfectly without crumbling, plus the firm white side gives me great control on flat panels. It's noticeably more durable than the cheap foam blocks I used to get.

The dual-density foam is exactly what I needed for feathering out body filler—the firm white side cuts aggressive material while the softer black side smooths the final passes. It holds up well through several sanding sessions without crumbling or losing shape, which is more than I can say for cheap
