I had been looking for a longer sanding block to keep flat on long surfaces, and this 16.5-inch board fits the bill perfectly. The clips secure the hook-and-loop sheets firmly, though I did have to press them down a bit to get a good grip.

The clips actually hold the hook-and-loop sheets tight across the full 16 1/2 inches, so no more wrinkling or slipping mid-stroke. It's rigid enough to keep flat on long panels, and I've been reaching for it every time I need a clean, even pass.

Finally, a sanding block long enough to keep my panels perfectly flat. The hook-and-loop clips hold the paper firmly without any slipping, even during heavy use.
