I’ve been using these 5-inch discs on a few oak boards, and the hook-and-loop backing makes swapping grits between coats effortless. The aluminum oxide cuts fast but still leaves a smooth enough finish for final sanding.

I was surprised how well these 8-hole discs stayed attached to my sander with the hook-and-loop system, and the aluminum oxide cuts through wood faster than the cheap ones I used before.

The hook-and-loop backing really grips the sander firmly, and these aluminum oxide discs chew through oak without dulling quickly. I've already gone through a few on my sander and the performance stays consistent.
