7" 3M (80515) FACE PLATE BLACK HARD

Bought this as a replacement for my worn-out backup pad, and the rigid surface holds the disc perfectly flat without any wobble. The mounting threads were clean and it seated flush on my grinder. Works exactly as a hard face plate should for consistent sanding.

Finally found a proper hard face plate that doesn't flex under pressure—the black finish on this one matches my setup perfectly. It locked onto my sander without any wobble, which saved me time on a big drywall project.

Had to replace an old worn-out face plate on my 7-inch grinder, and this black hard plastic one fits perfectly right out of the package. The 3M part number 80515 matched up exactly with what I needed.
