I've been using this 6-inch silicon carbide roll for a few weeks of woodworking and metal finishing, and the 40X grit cuts aggressively without loading up. The full 50 yards means I won't need to reorder anytime soon, which is a huge plus for the price.

The roll arrived tightly wound with no tears or fraying along the edges, and the 40X grit cut through my steel like butter without loading up once. Fifty yards is a lot of material for the price, so I’m stocked for months of sanding projects.

The 40X grit is really aggressive yet consistent across the whole 50-yard roll, which made quick work of stripping old paint off my barn doors. I wish I’d bought this wide sheet format sooner for large flat surfaces.
