These 24Y grit discs cut through rust and paint much faster than the aluminum oxide wheels I used before, and they hold their edge noticeably longer. I've already gone through a handful of projects without the cloth backing fraying on me.

I've been using these grinding discs on some thick steel plate, and the 24Y grit holds up way longer than the standard ones I'd grab at the hardware store. The ceramic cloth backing is tough as nails and doesn't tear when I lean into a heavy pass.
