YELLOW BRISTLE DISCS 3M

Stripping old gasket material off an intake manifold used to take forever with a wire wheel, but these yellow discs chewed through it in a fraction of the time. The 80 grit leaves a nice clean surface for a new gasket without gouging the metal.

I picked up the 2-inch discs for cleaning up welds on a small metal project, and the 80 grit yellow bristles cut through the discoloration without gouging the surface. They held up way better than the cheap discs I used to burn through in one sitting.

Used the 3-inch discs to strip old gasket material off an aluminum intake and they chewed through it without gouging the surface. The yellow bristles wear down evenly, so I got way more life out of each disc than I expected.
