I've been using these zirconia file board sheets for some detailed metal work, and the 17 1/2" length is perfect for my long sanding block. They cut through stubborn burrs faster than my old aluminum oxide sheets, and the grit holds up well even after a fair bit of pressure.

Finally found some sanding sheets wide enough to handle my longboard without constantly repositioning, and the zirconia cuts through old paint way faster than the aluminum oxide stuff I'd been using.

The zirconia grit on these sheets chews through wood and metal without loading up, and the 17 1/2" length gives you plenty of strokes before flipping. I've already burned through three of them on a single drawer project, and they'd make a great cheap addition to any bench.
