I've been using these 40-grit file boards for heavy material removal on my metal projects, and the 50-sheet count means I won't run out mid-job. The 3M resin bond holds up way longer than cheap alternatives, keeping the grit aggressive through repeated use.

These sheets cut through rust and paint on metal files way faster than the sandpaper I was using before. The 40 grit is aggressive but doesn't seem to clog up as quickly as I expected either.

I've been using these for shaping down some stubborn wood edges, and the 2 3/4" width is just right for hand filing. Each sheet tears off cleanly from the pack of 50, and they hold up well without crumbling.
