BLACK SILICON CARBIDE BELT

After struggling with old aluminum oxide belts on a pair of stainless steel kitchen knives, these black carbide belts sliced through the burr in half the time. The 400 grit left a mirror finish that surprised me. Definitely sharper than what I was used to.

I was skeptical about switching from my usual aluminum oxide belts, but these silicon carbide ones actually cut through a stubborn knife bevel noticeably faster. The finer 600-grit finish on some glass edges came out much smoother than I expected, with no chipping.

Finally got around to using these on some glass edges and the difference from my old belts is night and day, cuts so much faster. The 600 grit finish came out perfectly smooth with no chipping.
