3M MULTICUT COMPACT GRAIN BELT

The 1x30 inch size fits my small bench sander perfectly, and the 120 grit leaves a clean, even finish on wood without loading up too quickly. It held up through a full afternoon of shaping walnut handles without any tearing. Exactly what I needed for detail work.

The 120 grit cuts through metal surprisingly fast without loading up, which saves me time on my bench grinder. It’s held up longer than cheaper belts I’ve tried, even with heavy use.

I've been using this 1" x 30" belt with the 120 grit on my small bench grinder for a week now, and it holds its edge way longer than the cheap ones I've tried. The compact grain really does seem to resist loading up on aluminum. It's the only belt I reach for when I need a quick, clean finish.
