Finally got around to using this 120 grit flap wheel on a small metal table, and it smoothed out the welds way faster than sandpaper ever could. The 3" size makes it easy to control in tight spots without jumping around too much. Definitely worth the money for that kind of removal.

The 120 grit cuts through rust quickly without loading up, and the 3/8 inch thickness fits my bench grinder adapter perfectly. It’s held together well through several heavy passes on metal.
