16 PAD STEEL WOOL LOAFS

Needed something coarse enough to strip old paint without going through the wood underneath, and these #0 pads hit that sweet spot perfectly. They held together through a whole afternoon of scrubbing without falling apart.

Tackled a really stubborn layer of varnish on an old chair this weekend, and the #0 coarse pads stripped it down to raw wood without clogging up after a single use. I’ve got plenty left for the rest of the set, too.

The #0 grade is exactly right for smoothing before a new coat—fine enough to not gouge the wood, still rough enough to cut through stubborn bits. Sixteen pads in the pack means I didn't have to ration them, which is rare for this kind of stuff.
